Your membership donation will help directly fund Franklin Elementary School enrichment programs for our students.  The fee for all members is $15.  The PTA benefits your child and our schools: studies show that kids do better when parents are involved and its a means to get you connected and better informed about the challenges our school is facing.

Meetings are voluntary and everyone is welcome to attend, however you can only vote at meetings if you are a member (single and family memberships come with one vote).

Step up to support the Franklin PTA today. There are multiple ways to pay, either by clicking on the link below to pay by credit card, or by dropping a check off, payable to Franklin PTA, in the office.

PTA Welcome Letter

Hello Franklin Families!

A warm welcome to all of our Franklin families, new and returning! We are so excited to start another school year at Franklin and our PTA is ready to make this the best year ever.

Here are a few tips for keeping up-to-date on all Franklin events and news this year:

  • Keep the PTA school calendar in a prominent place. Mark your calendars for Franklin events throughout the year.

  • Read our weekly email announcements to stay up-to-date on volunteering opportunities and upcoming events. We have a few surprises planned and you won’t want to miss out!

  • Attend the Welcome Events the first day of school, Wednesday, August 22nd

    • Back To School Coffee at 8:30am, following drop-off in the Multipurpose Room. Meet new friends, reconnect with old friends, celebrate the return to school, grab a bite and learn about ways to make an impact at Franklin.

    • BBQ lunch hosted by the wonderful Dad’s Club out by the lunch tables at noon. All are welcome to enjoy food and time together.

We have big plans this year for our Franklin family. We are excited to bring you all of our popular family events, like Movie Night, Bingo Night, and the Book Fair, just to name a few. In addition, we are planning more activities that foster community and that students will love. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.

You will hear us say “Strive for Five” - just five small things each of us can do to support our Franklin community.  There are all sorts of tasks that anyone can assist with - one can attend a PTA meeting, help set-up or plan an event, decorate a bulletin board, make a few phone calls to confirm vendors, run the cash box for movie snacks, or volunteer for lunch duty. No task is too small. Volunteering is not only a great way to show your support for our school but it is a great way to meet the teachers, principal, and build your Franklin village. So Strive for Five and reach out if you want to contribute to our school’s success!

We can’t wait to meet you!  Please stop us anytime to chat or say a quick hello. We thank you in advance for working with us. We are so proud of our Franklin community and we look forward to another wonderful year together. Go Falcons!
